Terms of service

These terms apply when you use this website or buy from it. They are meant to be readable; where a clause is there because the law requires it, we have said so.

1. Who can buy

You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter into a contract. We do not sell to under-18s.

2. We are a retailer, not a manufacturer

Moddose is an independent retailer of third-party products. We do not manufacture, formulate, repackage or relabel anything we sell. Each product is made by the brand identified on its packaging and is supplied in that manufacturer's sealed packaging.

All product names, brands and trademarks referenced on this site are the property of their respective owners. We use them only to identify the genuine products we sell. Their use does not imply affiliation with, sponsorship by, or endorsement from their owners.

Formulations, ingredient panels, labelling and manufacturing standards are set by the manufacturer and may change without notice to us. The label on the product you receive is the authority, not the description on this site. Read it before use, and contact us if it differs materially from what was described here.

3. Products are dietary supplements

Everything sold here is a dietary supplement. Supplements are not medicines. Nothing we sell is intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease, and nothing on this site should be read as medical advice or as a substitute for care from a qualified professional.

Consult a healthcare professional before use if you are pregnant or breastfeeding, taking prescription medication, managing a health condition, or scheduled for surgery. Stop use and seek advice if you have an adverse reaction.

These statements have not been evaluated by the Food and Drug Administration.

4. Orders

An order is an offer to buy. The contract forms when we send you a dispatch confirmation. We may decline an order — for example if an item is out of stock, if a price was listed in error, or if we believe the order is fraudulent — and if we do, you are not charged.

5. Pricing

Prices are in US dollars and exclude tax, which is calculated at checkout. All prices sit on our published set of price points, and we do not advertise a "was" price against a price we did not previously charge.

If a product is listed at an obviously incorrect price, we will contact you before dispatch and you may cancel the order for a full refund.

6. Subscriptions

Subscribe & Save applies a 20% discount to each recurring order. You choose the interval. We email you three days before each shipment so you can skip or change it, and you can cancel at any time from your account with immediate effect and no minimum term. Cancelling stops future charges; orders already dispatched remain returnable under our returns policy.

7. Returns and refunds

Our returns policy — 60 days, opened or unopened, free return shipping — forms part of these terms and is set out on the shipping and returns page. Nothing in these terms limits your statutory rights.

8. Acceptable use

Do not resell products bought here as something other than what they are, misrepresent them as medicines, scrape or copy this site's content for a competing store, or attempt to interfere with the site's operation.

9. Content and accuracy

We work hard to keep product information accurate, but always read the label on the product you receive — it governs, not this website. If you spot a discrepancy between the label and the site, tell us and stop using the product until we have answered.

10. Liability

We do not exclude liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be excluded. Subject to that, our total liability for any order is limited to the amount you paid for it, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses.

11. Intellectual property

The Moddose name, branding, site copy and site design belong to us. You may not reproduce them commercially without permission. Third-party brands, product names and packaging remain the property of their respective owners.

12. Changes

We may update these terms. The version in force is the one published when you place your order, and the date at the top tells you when it last changed.

13. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of [JURISDICTION], and the courts of [JURISDICTION] have exclusive jurisdiction, without affecting any mandatory consumer protections available where you live.
