White horses then came down from the heavens of which the Khan and his men slit the throats.
Blood spilled on the ground, from which sprang cistanche.
The army consumed this, replenishing their strength and vitality.
After this sign from God, they went on to be victorious.
In addition to this legend, it is said that Genghis Khan consumed cistanche daily. His stamina and the spread of his genes make up 8% of Asia’s population of his descendants.

Quality, Dosage, and How to Use
Our Cistanche Tubulosa extract is grown organically on the Tibetan plateau. Then is dual-extracted using both water and alcohol. It is specified for at least the following:
- Total phenylethanoid glycosides greater than 60%
- Echinacosides greater than 20%
- Aceteosides greater than 6%
Recommended taking one to two grams, or 1 to 2 teaspoons, per day. It can also be added to hot water, and other drinks or taken straight.
This Cistanche supplement has a bitter and salty taste.
